Due to the COVID-19 concerns, there are many questions flooding accountants and bookkeepers’ in regards to the economic measures The Australian Government quickly put into place and how to go about administering it. Thankfully on April 3, 2020, more guidelines were issued, but there are still people struggling to fill out forms and catch up with months of neglected paperwork to be able to qualify. On April 8, 2020, Intuit QuickBooks sent out an email to payroll customers letting them know there will be a program to facilitate the application process directly from within QuickBooks Online and they are keeping us well informed, well trained and up to date in readiness for the roll out of JobKeeper Payments.
Intuit QuickBooks with the vast amount of Payroll customers and advisers, are in the best position to facilitate the administration of the JobKeeper Payments with a streamlined process of auto-populating information required by the application. The economic measures being offered to different sectors of the community are evolving regularly and as pictured below, QuickBooks daily reminders can be found conveniently placed with help to make sense of it all.
